Golden Bean World Series
The inaugural Golden Bean World Series was held in Kona, Hawaii in late 2022. Currently, we are anticipating that the next Golden Bean World Series event will be held in February 2024. To be eligible, be sure to enter Golden Bean 2023 for your shot at the Golden Bean World Series title.

What is the World Series?
The World Series is the grand final between the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere to see who is the world's best coffee roaster.
All previous overall Golden Bean North America champions and winners in Gold and Silver will be eligible to compete vs. their Australasian counterparts in the World Series.
Plus, the 2022 Golden Bean Overall winner will be flown over to Hawaii to compete in the World Series!
There will be one Overall Champion and one Large Chain-Store Champion (+20 stores).
There will also be a trophy for the runner-up in both these awards.
There are Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for each category: Espresso, Milk and Filter.
How it works
To be eligible for the World Series, you have to have competed in a previous Golden Bean competition.
All Gold and Silver medal winners are then eligible to enter into the World Series.
Every single Overall Champion from every year of the Golden Bean are able to enter.

Format
Entering is $500 and you are judged in three categories.
Milk, Espresso and Filter.
There is no limit on green bean cost and no restriction on roasting method.
Supply coffee to be judged in 1kg bags for each category.
There will be winners in each category and your top score in each category are added to crown the Ultimate Grand Champion.
