🏆 Become the Overall Golden Bean Champion 🏆
To become the overall Golden Bean Champion, and take home a custom Reg Barber made Golden Bean Trophy, roasters need to enter a coffee into three categories:
Espresso, Milk-Based & Filter
Winners of all other categories are awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, but scores do not contribute to Overall Champion.
To become the Chain-Store Champion, you need to enter into:
Chain-Store Espresso, Chain-Store Milk & Chain-Store Filter

The Elite category has no limit on the green bean cost. All other categories are limited to $60 per kilo.

Temperature: Six-ounce brew at 200F brew temperature with 1:15 brew time.

What Happens After You Enter Your Coffee
After we have received your entry we will send you Golden Bean entry instructions, conference information as well as instructions on how you can send your coffee to us.
Attend the competition
You can purchase a ticket online to attend the competition.
Alternatively... if you enter six or more coffee's you will receive a FREE VIP ticket!

Please note: It is the responsibility of the roaster to choose the delivery date of their coffee (within the window of dates advised) to ensure it is at its best on the days of judging.
Steps to sending in your coffee entry
1. Send one plain bag of coffee per entry: 1 x (500g) sample for judging for each of the categories you are entering.
2. You can enter a maximum of 6 coffee entries per category per roaster. 6 entries will get you a FREE VIP attendance ticket.
3. Write the corresponding category number on your bag.
4. Print ‘packing slip’ for each coffee and STAPLE to each entered bag (this will be removed prior to the event).
5. DO NOT write your business name on the coffee bags.
6. Coffee must be delivered by TBA 2024.
7. Send to: TBA 2024.
